Project Manager – Project Lead (Remote, EST Hours) Location: 100% Remote (Must work EST hours) Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension) About the Role The College of Charleston’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Lead to oversee IT projects and ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational standards. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment, where your work will have a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement standardized project management processes and methodologies. • Create clear, well-structured project documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Monitor project progress and report status through dashboards and executive summaries. • Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure quality deliverables. • Foster strong stakeholder engagement and facilitate cross-team collaboration. • Mentor team members on Agile practices and continuous improvement. Required Skills & Experience • Project Management experience: 5+ years (or 9+ years without a degree). • PMP Certification and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) required. • Experience working with Business Analysts and Kanban boards. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred: • Product Owner experience. • Experience with ServiceNow. • Familiarity with Data Analysts or Data Scientists. • Previous IT role (analyst, programmer, etc.). Tools & Technologies • Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project). • ServiceNow (preferred).
