Assist in planning, organizing, and tracking projects, including communication, documentation, budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting progress and risks.
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years project management experience with skills in project planning, budgeting, communication, and customer orientation.
To assist in the planning, organizing and tracking of projects that impact or enhance the department and/or the FedEx enterprise. Essential Functions • Support the implementation of a defined project or sub-set of projects within set organizational procedures and standards. • Works independently to provide project communication, documentation, and coordination for small, low-complexity projects or a specific portion of larger, more complex projects. • Collection and analysis of project requirements with the project sponsor/customer or senior colleagues, design of the implementation proposal, and evaluation of feasibility for projects. • Activities include but are not limited to developing project schedule, project communication, securing funding, allocating resources (internal & external). • Responsible for monitoring and tracking project activities, budget, timeline and risks. • Regularly reports project progress and project issues/risks to senior-level peers or management. • Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree/equivalent, business, technical, analytical, or related disciplines. Minimum Experience Two (2) years project management experience. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Project planning/coordination and budgeting experience. Good analytical, organizational and communication skills. Customer focused orientation. Finance/accounting or business systems knowledge. Pay: $5,662.27 USD per month - $7,897.38 USD per month Additional Details: The desired locations for this position would be Collierville, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX.
