• We are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visas at this time.* FDR Engineers, PLLC, a national full-service structural engineering firm is seeking talented, ambitious, structural engineers to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing practical and efficient solutions to complex project challenges, while maintaining the highest possible levels of client satisfaction, and are seeking driven individuals to share in our growth within the industry. This position will involve the structural analysis, design, and detailing of projects utilizing various structural systems and materials, both in the conventional full-service Engineer of Record (EOR) role, as well as through extended specialty engineering/ consulting services on projects emphasizing cold formed steel framing, spanning all facets of the construction industry. Success within this position will require the following skills and abilities: • Proficiency with AutoCAD based drafting standards, BIM experience, REVIT is a plus. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to generate and interpret construction documents. • Detailed knowledge of basic construction methods and techniques. • The ability to effectively work and collaborate with team members and project managers, both internal and external to the company, to develop effective solutions to complex design challenges. • The ability to apply effective time-management and organizational skills and techniques to manage project tasks and commitments across multiple projects. • An eagerness to learn, grow, and adapt to new design standards and challenges as our industry evolves.
