We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Independent Wholesale Account Executive to help drive growth and profitability for our wholesale apparel business in the Southeast territory. This role involves managing wholesale accounts, developing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with retailers and partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the apparel industry, a proven track record of driving B2B sales growth, and strong business judgment to balance customer needs with company profitability and brand standards. With a growing presence in high-end boutiques, resorts, and specialty retailers, we have built a loyal community and are positioned for strong continued growth This role is responsible for accounts within the Southeast, including the following but not limited to: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Arkansas Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Business Development • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand wholesale partnerships and achieve regional sales and margin goals • Identify and pursue new wholesale opportunities that align with brand positioning • Set and achieve sales targets while maintaining healthy margins • Participate in sales initiatives and seasonal goals designed to drive both sales and profitability Account Management • Build and maintain relationships with key wholesale clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships • This position is primarily responsible for generating NEW business in the territory. Existing active accounts already serviced by the company will not be inherited • Build and maintain relationships with key wholesale clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships • Manage accounts and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within healthy margin parameters • Negotiate terms, pricing, and volume deals using sound judgment to balance competitive pricing with company profit standards • Manage inventory sell-through to ensure a clean, profitable close to each season Market + Field Responsibilities • Conduct regular road appointments to visit accounts in person • Represent the brand at regional trade shows and markets • Responsible for travel, lodging, and scheduling associated with territory travel • Company contributions toward trade show booth fees may be negotiated based on show, budget, and seasonal priorities Operational Excellence & Collaboration • Utilize NuOrder to manage line presentations, orders, and account communications • Collaborate closely with customer service to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment • Monitor and report on sales performance, profitability, and territory growth • Provide product and market feedback to internal teams to support brand evolution and demand-driven development Commission & Sales • Commission applies to full-price wholesale sales only; off-price or heavily discounted sales (e.g., more than X% off) do not qualify for commission • No commission is earned on orders belonging to accounts already managed by another sales representative • Total sales from non-commissionable orders will still count toward sales initiatives and performance goals Qualifications + Skills • 8+ years of wholesale apparel sales experience • Strong understanding of pricing models, distribution channels, and margin protection • Proven success in prospecting, closing, and strategic account growth • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and NuOrder (strongly preferred) • Strong industry relationships and network within the boutique and specialty retail space • Highly self-directed, organized, entrepreneurial, and confident in a road-focused sales role Compensation + Benefits • Commission + possible performance-based bonuses • Representation of a growing lifestyle brand with strong market traction and expansion plans • Trade show contribution structure negotiated based on business needs Industry • Wholesale Employment Type Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Benefits: • Employee discount • Flexible schedule Work Location: Remote
