FC Copa Academy / NJ Copa FC Operations & Event Management Intern (USL2 / USLW / USLA) FC Copa Academy is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Operations & Event Management Interns to support our USL2, USLW, and USLA teams. This role provides hands-on experience in game day operations and event management within a high-level soccer environment. Interns will assist the Operations Department with all aspects of game week preparation and match day execution, including pre-game setup, in-game logistics, ceremonies, post-game breakdown, and general operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in sports management, event operations, and professional soccer environments. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Operations, FC Copa Academy. Responsibilities • Assist with game week planning and preparation • Support match day operations, logistics, and in-game ceremonies • Help with setup and breakdown before and after games • Assist with post-game cleanup and operational wrap-up • Support various operational tasks as assigned throughout the season Skills & Qualifications • Strong time management and organizational skills • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously Preferred Experience • Major or coursework in Business, Sports Management, or a related field • Previous event operations experience strongly preferred • Prior experience in sports operations is a plus About FC Copa Academy / NJ Copa FC FC Copa Academy is a nationally recognized soccer club committed to player development at all levels.
