Senior Software Developer (Java & Go) Remote / United States Descripción Recruiting a Software Developer (Java / Golang / Production) for a project in a Technology Company. This role requires strong technical expertise, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop complex software components and scalable applications. • Provide technical leadership and guidance for software development initiatives. • Develop interfaces and drivers for hardware devices, software platforms, and data exchange. • Advise developers on best practices in software design and code creation. • Monitor and adjust development efforts to ensure alignment with established goals. • Test and debug software to ensure high-quality, error-free releases. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software challenges. • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 4+ years of experience building production-grade applications. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 2️⃣ Sr. Software Developer (Java) Focus: Java Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture & Systems Integration Main Technologies: Java 11+, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ (AMQP), REST APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab/Azure DevOps Location: Remote LATAM – Supporting US West Coast Client Time Zone: Must collaborate during US Mountain Time (MST) Start Date: ASAP Position Summary This role contributes directly within the Agile iteration cycle and participates in both high-level and detailed system design. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based microservices architecture, asynchronous messaging, and systems integration within secure banking environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and platform solutions aligned with evolving client requirements. • Participate in all phases of the software engineering lifecycle. • Collaborate with architects and developers on specifications, standards, code reviews, and testing. • Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies. • Maintain Bank Security Standards and pass audit requirements. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed. Technical Requirements • Java 11+ • Spring Boot (event-driven microservices) • Async messaging platforms (RabbitMQ / AMQP) • REST API design (secure, versioned, OpenAPI/Swagger, idempotency, error handling) • Systems integration (legacy + modern platforms via REST) • Performance SLAs (latency/throughput measurement, profiling & tuning) • Load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) • DevOps toolchain: GitLab / Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Jenkins 3️⃣ Sr. Software Engineer Focus: Banking Platform Engineering, Reusable Architecture & Secure Backend Development Main Technologies: GoLang, Java, Automated Testing Tools, Banking/Clearing Platforms Location: Remote – LATAM Based Consultant Supporting US West Coast Client Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 Months Plus Position Overview The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement applications for a clearing platform within a banking environment. This role emphasizes reusable architecture, automation optimization, audit compliance, and mentoring capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design, modify, develop, and implement software applications for the clearing platform. • Write source code for new applications and enhance existing ones. • Utilize automated testing tools for validation and maintenance. • Acquire and translate client requirements into optimized workflow solutions. • Collaborate with Product, Project, QA, DevOps, and Support teams to ensure reliable production releases. • Maintain Bank Security Standards and ensure audit compliance. • Coach and mentor team members. • Lead when necessary and support the team proactively. • Design reusable, modular, and generic components. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 4+ years of experience building production applications. • Strong backend engineering experience. • Technologies: GoLang and/or Java.
