# **Job Opening: Operations Manager – TPA Oversight (Life & Annuity)** • *Location:** Remote (U.S.) • *Employment Type:** Full-Time ## **About the Role** Farmers Life Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled **Operations Manager – TPA Oversight** to lead and manage our third-party administration partners from a fully **remote** environment. This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination between internal teams and external vendors responsible for policy administration. The ideal candidate has direct experience working with **insurance TPAs**, strong knowledge of **life and annuity products**, and is equipped with hands-on expertise in **system testing, UAT, implementations, and process improvement**. --- ## **Key Responsibilities** ### **TPA Oversight & Relationship Management** • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Farmers Life and our TPA(s). • Track and enforce SLA performance, quality metrics, turnaround times, and service levels. • Conduct recurring operational reviews, issue escalations, and performance audits. • Ensure TPA adherence to regulatory standards, product specs, and contractual obligations. ### **Operational Execution & Process Improvement** • Oversee daily policy administration activities including new business, inforce transactions, claims processing, agent support, and customer service. • Identify operational gaps and lead efficiency, automation, or process-improvement initiatives. • Coordinate cross-functional resolutions to maintain high service delivery standards. ### **Systems Testing & Implementation** • Lead or support **UAT**, system enhancements, platform implementations, and new product setups. • Validate functionality, calculations, data integrity, and workflow readiness during testing cycles. • Partner with actuarial, IT/system vendors, and TPA teams to ensure successful implementations. ### **Product & Compliance Coordination** • Work closely with compliance, actuarial, and product development to ensure TPA alignment with product filings and state regulatory requirements. • Support internal audits, data reviews, and state examinations. • Document operational procedures and ensure consistency across systems and processes. --- ## **Qualifications** ### **Required** • **3–7 years of insurance operations experience**, preferably involving TPA oversight or policy administration. • Proven experience with **system testing, UAT, and implementation** projects. • Strong understanding of **life and/or annuity products** (MYGA, FIA, traditional life, etc.). • Exceptional communication and vendor-management skills. • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote environment. ### **Preferred** • Experience with fixed annuities, reinsurance structures, or administration-system conversions. • Familiarity with policy admin platforms (e.g., Verisk FAST, FIS, Majesco, other TPAs). • Experience with regulatory reviews, operational audits, or process mapping. --- ## **What We Offer** • 100% **remote role** with flexible working environment. • Competitive salary and bonus structure. • Medical, dental, and vision benefits. • Opportunity to join a rapidly growing life insurance company with strong long-term outlook. • Collaborative culture with direct impact on company operations and policyholder experience.
