Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as the team lead in designing and developing advanced solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications, as well as coach and mentor team members. THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE The Lead Automation Engineer role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities: • Apply your advanced skills and knowledge to develop solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components. • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms and account for interrelated functionality and processes when developing designs. • Establish and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. • Monitor performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions and lead the team in addressing identified issues There is 1 opening for this position which can be based in our Reston, VA office. THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Minimum Required Experiences • 4 years related work experience • Strong knowledge of core AWS services- such as S3, EC2, CloudFormation, RDS,RDS,Lambda,StepFunctions,ECS,ECR • General understanding of AWS networking (VPC, NACLs, SGs, routing , AWS Config) • Fluency in AWS cli usage and AWS SDKs for Python/Java • Python/Java knowledge sufficient to code for AWS SDKs. • Excellent interpersonal skills with attitude towards solving problems for customers • Technical and analytical skills for issues troubleshooting • Ability to visualize and integrate solution through backend data to UI driven using Angular and NodeJS • Ability to interact and guide junior developers with strong technical background • Background on multi-cloud computing - AWS, Azure and GCP Desired Experiences • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Qualifications Active Directory (AD), Active Directory (AD), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Atlassian JIRA, Authentication Management, Backup and Recovery (Software), Business Insight Skills, Business Process Management Skills, Calendar and Scheduling Tools, Cleaning and Transforming Data, Cloud Technology, Collaborating Cross-Functionally, Communicating in Technical Writing, Communicating Technical Information, Communication, Configuration Management (CM), Conflict Resolution, Coordination, Customer and Market Insights, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), CyberArk, Cybersecurity Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Analysis Interpretation {+ 60 more} Education: Bachelor's Level Degree (Required) The future is what you make it to be.
