Family Psychological Services is a dynamic, rapidly growing comprehensive behavioral health clinic located in Agoura Hills providing diagnostic testing to help discern diagnosis and develop treatment plans for patients seeking our help. As a result of our expanding practice, we are seeking to hire highly motivated Full Time Administrative Assistant to support our busy practice, your experience will be a good fit for our group practice if you... • Go above and beyond your scope of duties • Are a person of integrity and like to take ownership • Enjoy a collaborative and dedicated work environment • Believe in providing exceptional care to clients and fellow staff • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with our amazing staff and clients • The ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment with exceptional organizational skills • Are proficient in Microsoft Office and can create or modify documents Essential duties include but not limited to... Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to computer, photocopying, faxing, mail, and filing • Handles telephone and e-mail inquiries, responding as appropriate • Creates and modifies documents using Microsoft Office • Scheduling appointments for Psychologists and Behavioral Therapists • Process payments • Screen potential new patients • Maintain EHR patient records and organize files • Assist patients with insurance issues. This may include obtaining and completing forms or communicating with insurance companies, prior experience in working with Psychological or mental health insurance companies would be a plus Knowledge, Skill Set and Abilities... Must be highly motivated and a self-starter. The ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including clients, community, and other staff. Must have excellent organizational skills and the capability to work in a fast paced environment Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while producing high quality work • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with various personalities, displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude • Meticulous organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and good written and verbal communication skills • Knowledge and use of computers and software including but not limited to Excel and Word. • Experience in working with EHR / EMR records.
