We are seeking a Vice President, Product – Telematics to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our telematics-driven insurance products. This role will be instrumental in building market-leading capabilities that leverage data, technology, and product innovation to transform how commercial auto insurance is priced, delivered, and experienced. Responsibilities • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for telematics-driven commercial auto insurance solutions. • Lead product strategy from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with Fairmatic’s business goals and customer needs. • Partner with engineering, data science, underwriting, and claims teams to design, build, and scale telematics products. • Drive innovation in data capture, risk scoring, driver safety analytics, and usage-based pricing models. • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment to maintain a market-leading telematics offering. • Collaborate with carrier partners, brokers, and customers to refine product-market fit and ensure adoption. • Define and track product success metrics, focusing on customer experience, loss ratio improvement, and profitability. • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation and execution. Skills and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. • 12+ years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Strong background in commercial auto insurance, telematics, mobility, or related industries. • Proven track record of building and scaling data-driven or telematics products. • Deep understanding of insurance product design, pricing, and regulatory requirements. • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams. • Experience working in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, or insurtech environment strongly preferred. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable product insights.
