Design Consultant Job Description: Our Design Consultant team provide expert product selection and design consultations for our builder, designer, architect and retail customers. Our team ensures a high-end product selection experience and the highest levels of service in order to exceed our customer’s expectations while making the plumbing, appliances, hardware and lighting part of their project as easy and smooth as possible. We are offering a Design Consultant Training Program to new teammates to make sure you have the tools necessary to be successful. Website: www.facetshome.com/austin Instagram: @facetsofaustin Duties • Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their design needs and preferences. • Provide product information and educate clients on materials, finishes, and design trends. • Manage account relationships by maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. • Upsell additional services or products that enhance the client’s experience and project outcome. • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately during the renovation process. Requirements • Sales experience and driven by the sales process. • Interest in interior design, remodeling, or renovation projects. • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively. • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project management. • Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, POS systems, and cashiering processes is beneficial. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated in achieving individual sales goals. • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to design layouts.
