A member of the F3 Marketing & Business Development Department, the Marketing & Business Development Manager provides support for a wide range of marketing activities. Responsibilities will include preparing proposals to speak, managing and supporting events, webinars, sponsorships, and other duties as assigned. At all times, the Manager should demonstrate enthusiasm for marketing, a commitment to providing excellent service to the firm's attorneys and staff, serve as a role model, and contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: • The Marketing & Business Development Manager will work closely with the entire MBD team and attorneys across the firm. The Manager will work on strategic events, partnerships, and sponsorships, from submitting proposals to speak to planning, logistics, and on-the-ground support, as well as support a variety of activities within the MBD team's purview. The Manager is expected to demonstrate initiative, ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments, and develop and execute marketing and business development initiatives that align with the firm's strategic goals and initiatives. • Work with Senior MBD Manager, CMBDO and attorneys to develop presentation topics to submit to conference, draft summaries, process submissions and follow up with organizations, maintaining strong relationships with those groups. • Oversee key association partnerships and sponsorship deliverables and serve as the liaison with outside organizations and act as the face of the firm with these groups. • Co-manage and oversee a robust conference calendar to maximize benefits and practice area exposure. Manage client events and sponsorships, including coordination of speakers, budget tracking, invitation lists, measuring ROI, and ensuring participant follow-up. • Lead event execution of assigned events, including planning, logistics, budgeting, and on-site support, and collateral management including the coordination with other team members to ensure timely selection and delivery of event assets such as invitations, PowerPoint assistance, handouts, website updates, social media posts, signage/exhibit displays, and promotional items. • For webinars, organize and conduct rehearsals and lead event day production. • Assess the results of events and provide recommendations for future modifications seeking to improve client experience and firm ROI. • Work collaboratively with the firm's digital marketing team to develop and support social media efforts related to events and conferences. • Support various marketing-related activities as needed. • Stay abreast of new marketing tactics and best practices and share insights with the team. • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
