EZ ICE was founded in 2016 with the goal of growing the game of hockey by getting 1 million kids and families Off the Device & On the Ice™ and enjoying the thrills of skating right in their very own backyards. Since then, EZ ICE has become the industry leader — selling over 10,000 easy-to-install backyard ice rinks to happy customers all over the US and Canada. We are looking for an energetic, outgoing Seasonal Brand Ambassador to help manage and execute a retail road show this fall and winter and support inside sales during non road show weeks. This Brand Ambassador role is a hands-on, in-person sales position requiring travel to eight (8) retail locations in the Northeast to engage members, demo our new Quick Start Kit, and drive sales. You’ll be the face of EZ ICE, surprising and delighting potential customers while educating them on our product’s unique benefits. When not working on this road show, you could also support inside sales efforts, answering sales tickets or taking inbound sales calls through EZ ICE’s centralized sales ticketing system. Role Details: • This is a seasonal, hourly position running from the end of September through the End of December, 2025. (Exact start and end dates are flexible and TBD) • During event weeks you will primarily work Wednesday through Sunday. Wednesdays would be spent finalizing details, preparing for the activation, and travel depending on the location (~4-8 hours total). Thursday through Sunday will be spent loading-in, activating, and breaking-down the road show activation at the specified retail location (~8-10 hours total per day). During weeks without an activation, you could work 20-40 hours between Monday and Friday training, planning the road show, or helping with inbound sales tickets. • This role is remote with monthly optional in-person team events around the greater Boston area. • Compensation: $25/hr and overtime eligible per MA state OT laws. Current Event Schedule (Thursday through Sunday) & Locations (Subject to Change): • 10/16–10/19: Manchester, NH • 10/23–10/26: Salem, NH • 11/6–11/9: Leominster, MA • 11/13–11/16: Hudson, MA • 11/20–11/23: Danvers, MA • 12/4–12/7: Portland, ME • 12/11–12/14: Albany, NY (hotel provided) • 12/18–12/21: Brookfield, CT (hotel provided) • Travel Requirements: • Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. This could include driving to the above locations or to a team meeting location outside of Boston. • Overnight hotel stays provided for NY and CT events. • Must be comfortable driving a box truck or large van to transport and set up event materials. • Early morning and later evening travel days during event periods when loading in and loading out. • Primary Roles & Responsibilities: • Represent the EZ ICE brand professionally and enthusiastically during Roadshow events. • Educate customers on the features, benefits, and ease of installation of the EZ ICE Quick Start Kit. • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and answer customer questions. • Drive sales by converting in-store interest into purchases on the spot. Maintain booth setup, signage, and presentation to retail partner standards. • Safely transport and activate EZ ICE’s booth including driving and unloading a box truck. • Track daily sales and provide feedback on customer interactions and trends. • Work collaboratively with EZ ICE leadership to refine sales approach and maximize results. • Support the project management and organization of the road show, including communication with EZ ICE Team members, communication with the retail partner, procuring necessary supplies and solving activation and travel logistics. • Qualifications & Requirements: • Available to work Wednesday through Sunday during the above mentioned weekends. • Outgoing, personable, and confident in engaging with customers face-to-face. • Prior retail, trade show, or promotional sales experience preferred but not required. • Comfortable driving a box truck and managing onsite booth setup/teardown. • Self-motivated with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets. • Reliable, punctual, and able to work every scheduled event date from store opening to close. • Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling physical setup/breakdown of event materials (table, signage, posters, inventory, etc). • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. • What We Value: • Customer focus: You enjoy creating positive experiences and building rapport quickly. • Competitive spirit: You thrive on meeting goals and closing sales. • Independence: You can manage your booth, sales, and schedule with minimal oversight.
