Senior Full-Stack Developer (Laravel/Angular) – Remote EyeCarePro is the growth engine behind North America’s leading optometric practices. The Role We’re hiring a Senior Full-Stack Developer to expand and strengthen our core SaaS platform. You’ll own meaningful product functionality used by thousands of eyecare professionals. The ideal candidate brings deep Laravel experience, strong Angular skills, and enjoys building reliable systems in a modern, remote setup. What You’ll Do • Ship features end-to-end for our SaaS platform, from concept to production • Build robust backends in PHP (Laravel) with clean architecture and tests • Design and maintain RESTful APIs for internal tools and third-party integrations • Contribute to front-end development in Angular with SASS • Develop and operate microservices with Docker and Kubernetes • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance issues • Continuously improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience • Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering best practices What You’ll Bring • Fluent English and excellent communication skills • 7+ years full-stack experience with strong PHP/Laravel expertise • Advanced JavaScript skills (7+ years) • 5+ years with SPA frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue acceptable) • Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL) • Proficiency with Git, automated testing, and modern CI/CD workflows • Solid grasp of core CS concepts (data structures, algorithms, design patterns) • Hands-on experience running services with Docker and Kubernetes Nice to Have • Familiarity with Symfony or advanced Laravel ecosystem tools • Experience with optometry EHR systems (e.g., OfficeMate, Crystal, RevolutionEHR) Work Setup • 100% remote • Work hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday • You provide: • Reliable, high-speed internet • A quiet, professional workspace • Personal computer, monitors, and required equipment • Load-shedding backup if applicable Our Core Values (what success looks like here) • Great Collaborator – You’re supportive, proactive, and add value to teammates and clients. • Always Learning – You stay curious about new tools, tech, and trends. • Driven to Improve – You iterate relentlessly; “good enough” isn’t. • Client Focused – You measure everything by the value it creates for clients.
