About us Eyecare Riverside is a small business in Riverside, CA. We are looking for a friendly, fun, and energetic individual to join our team! We are a new practice in Riverside, CA a wonderful, family-oriented community, convenient to shopping, great restaurants, and plenty of out-door activities. We are putting together a team who shares our vision of creating a personal and inviting environment in order to provide the best care for our patients. Our family-owned office, focuses on creating a great patient experience, while making sure to meet our team’s needs. You will be part of a group of close-knit and friendly professionals who encourage one another and celebrate each others’ successes — all within a relaxed atmosphere. We have a part time position available! We are looking for someone enthusiastic about helping patients and new technology to enhance the doctor office experience. We are looking for someone eager to learn and grow along with our practice. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, general office duties, assisting in optical dispensing, verifying insurance information, and helping the doctor with patient tests. Our work environment includes: • Modern office setting • Growth opportunities • Company perks ```Duties:``` - Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features - Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Adjust and repair eyeglasses as needed - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Maintain inventory of eyewear and contact lenses - Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions ```Requirements:``` - Previous experience as an optician - Strong knowledge of optical principles, anatomy, and eye health - Familiarity with retail sales and customer service practices - Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately -People oriented and out going -Detail oriented and efficient -Experience in Sales - Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools - Knowledge of retail math for pricing and discounts - Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
