This is really important in delivering the product and platform outcomes that our customers expect.   Join our dynamic Technology team as a Senior Business Product Manager, where you will have the opportunity to lead transformative projects and programs that align with our strategic goals. In this role, you will manage timelines, costs, and quality to ensure successful outcomes. You will lead both technical and non-technical project teams to develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions and infrastructure. Your specialized knowledge in project and program delivery methods, including Agile and waterfall, will be essential as you coach others and propose solutions to technical constraints.   Your key responsibilities   As a Senior Business Product Manager, you will be responsible for delivering processes, solutions, and projects that drive our organization forward. You will apply your judgment and expertise to inform recommendations, overcoming barriers and managing risks. Your role will involve:   Defining and executing deliverables Tracking deliverable completion and project status Regular travel as needed by external clients Actively participating in client working sessions Expect to be challenged and to grow professionally as you navigate complex issues and make decisions that have a broad impact on our projects and clients 2.   Skills and attributes for success   To thrive in this role, you will need a combination of skills and experience that drive success. Your ability to build and manage relationships, communicate with impact, and solve complex problems will be key. Additionally, you should have:   As a Product Manager, you will own the vision and strategy for products on behalf of our clients, define the product roadmap, and deliver clear requirements that designers and engineers will use to bring your vision to life. You’ll conduct customer research, monitor and respond to feedback and metrics, and continuously drive improvements to the customer experience. You will drive day-to-day execution and delivery with re-prioritization and adjustments being made along the way to respond to an evolving business landscape.   We are looking for a true product owner who can be counted on to innovate and make business, technical and strategic decisions along with running day-to-day execution. You will be working on deeply technical platform and artificial intelligence products and services so a strong technical background (preferably as a developer) is a must.   Equivalent professional experience as a product manager defining and delivering commercial-grade software products and services Significant customer-facing experience related to planning, requirements gathering, prioritizing,  and scoping Experience delivering software platforms, products, and services targeted at highly technical audiences (i.e. software developers) Experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team to deliver products/services Demonstrated skills in developing product roadmaps and functional requirements, launching new products/features, conducting customer research and/or facilitating user testing Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules Strong attention to detail and end-to-end ownership Proficient in Agile delivery and development methodologies. Experienced in application delivery processes and application development tools. Strong understanding of quality assurance and testing practices. Knowledgeable in system development lifecycle and technology integration. Experience in financial and risk management Knowledge of customer market and portfolio management Expertise in product commercialization and lifecycle management Proficiency in stakeholder management and strategic product planning 2.   To qualify for the role, you must have   Bachelor’s degree required 2 - 4 years relevant experience Typically, no less than 2 years relevant experience in professional platform engineering experience or similar role in software development and system administration.  Success in delivering products/services in a high-growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous customer-focused problems Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong negotiation skills and ability to align with stakeholders on expectations Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to make recommendations and measure success Background as a software engineer (application/system development and quality assurance) is a big plus Proficient in application development tools.  Skilled in technology business requirements definition.  Skilled in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.  Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Effective change management abilities.  Proven track record of leading teams.  Ability to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including internal teams, clients, and vendors.     Ideally, you’ll also have   Passionate about delivering commercial software products and platforms to market Deeply technical and constantly in a state of learning Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with a variety of audiences including developers, clients, customers, partners and executives Fearless in getting “hands-on” with technology and execution Strong understanding of modern software engineering processes Deep understanding and interest in AI, cloud, and distributed systems architecture Comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarity Strong negotiation and influencing skills.  Experience in managing change effectively.  A track record of leading teams successfully. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,100 to $183,400.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $120,100 to $208,500.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
