Extension is seeking an Inside Sales Assistant Manager for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients located in Milwaukee, WI. Key Objectives / Role Responsibilities • Provide leadership and direction to the Inside Sales team, including monitoring performance and conducting reviews. • Partner with management and the Outside Sales team to ensure seamless communication and customer support. • Oversee order management processes including quotes, order entry, tracking, returns, and credits. • Resolve escalated customer issues while collaborating with internal departments. • Support the Inside Sales Manager on key projects and reporting initiatives. • Back up team members in areas such as reception, administration, custom quoting, ERP/CRM data coordination, and display order management. • Communicate with showrooms, architects, designers, and homeowners to provide product knowledge and outstanding service. Desired Skills & Qualifications • 3–5 years of leadership experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or Project Management, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution setting. • Strong background in customer service and issue resolution; proven ability to improve processes. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred. • Confident, self-driven, and highly organized with strong project management abilities. • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Bonus: Background in luxury products, interior design, or architecture.
