Apartment Community Maintenance Specialist (HVAC & Trades) Location: Sacramento, CA Hourly Range: $22–$26 DOE Your mission Imagine being the reason a family comes home to a cool, comfortable space on a hot Sacramento afternoon. As the go-to problem solver for a thriving apartment community, you’ll turn requests into resolutions—protecting assets, elevating resident satisfaction, and keeping building systems running smoothly. How you’ll make an impact • Own the upkeep of apartments, common areas, and building systems through proactive and routine maintenance. • Diagnose and fix issues spanning plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. • Close work orders with speed and care, communicating clearly with residents. • Lead clean, efficient unit turns—painting, cleaning, and performing needed repairs. • Be ready for urgent needs and participate in an on-call rotation when required. • Maintain organized tools and supplies; champion safety and policy compliance. What you’ll need to succeed • At least 2 years of maintenance experience; multifamily/property management background preferred. • Solid grasp of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance. • EPA HVAC certification preferred (but not required). • Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks. • Excellent communication and a service-first approach. • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
