Manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, ability to operate industrial equipment, basic computer and math skills, and physical ability to stand and lift up to 30 pounds.
Machine Operator Assistant The Operator opening requires experience in manufacturing or related field with the ability to operate large-scale industrial equipment including plastic extrusion equipment, slitters, winders, overhead hoist, forklifts, bailers, and warehouse equipment. 1st and 2nd shift openings available. THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO WORK 12 HOUR DAY SHIFT 7a-7p. Our Opportunity: New hires will go through training on a 1st shift, 12-hour schedule. Perform a variety of duties within the skill level developed through on-site training and experience. Responsibilities include: • Follow all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality, and efficient operations. • Assist with line start-up and shutdown according to procedures. • Assist with set-up styles, including necessary adjustments, by use of set-up sheets/guidelines. • Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports; check quality at the start of the shift and ensure quality of product throughout the shift. • Maintain a clean line, adhere to all plant safety, quality, and attendance policies. • Maintain communication as necessary with shift supervisor and lead operator to ensure acceptable quality, efficiencies, and material utilization. • Demonstrate team building and dedication. • Follow detailed procedures to operate moving machinery.
