THIS POSITION PAYS HOURLY PLUS TIPS WHEN WORKING SERVER POSITION. About the Role: Our Food and Beverage Lead will ensure our guests receive exceptional dining experiences. This position will assist the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Lead person will assist in managing staff, coordinate with kitchen and service teams, and maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth operations. Work shifts when needed as a server or a cook. Additionally, the role requires implementing health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for both guests and employees. Ultimately, the Food and Beverage Lead will contribute to our guests' overall satisfaction, enhancing their stay and encouraging repeat visits. Minimum Qualifications: • A high school diploma or equivalent. • Experience in the Kitchen, Bar, and Restaurant. • Able to work days, nights, weekends, and Holidays. • Able to obtain a food handler's Certificate. • Able to obtain a Responsible Alcohol License (TIPS). Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with doing inventory. • Experience in ordering food and alcohol. • Experience serving and cooking • Banquet experience is a plus. Responsibilities: • Assist in covering shifts as needed due to business levels and budgeting purposes.. • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive work environment. • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations. • Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring local and state guidelines compliance. • Collaborate with the f&b manager and hotel management team to develop menus and special unique dishes that meet guest preferences and dietary needs as required by the IHG Standards. Skills: The required skills for this role include strong leadership and communication abilities, essential for managing a diverse team and ensuring effective collaboration. Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining high service standards and compliance with health regulations. Problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to address operational challenges, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Additionally, financial acumen is essential in managing budgets and inventory effectively. Preferred skills, such as proficiency in technology and software related to food service, will enhance efficiency and streamline operations.
