We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Contractor to grow our client base. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with industry connections and a background in freight forwarding, NVOCC services, or international shipping. We are a boutique forwarder specializing in the import and export of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, agriculture, forestry, oil & gas industries worldwide, with a special focus on cranes. Candidates with experience in boats, yachts, travel trailers, or RV sales are also welcome. Retirees from related industries are encouraged to apply. Location & Hours • Remote — open to U.S. and international candidates • Flexible hours required to accommodate global time zones Who We’re Looking For • Existing network of import/export clients in the heavy machinery industry is a big plus • Understanding of global logistics, customs, and equipment transport • Motivated, creative, and disciplined in securing clients independently • Ability to manage your own schedule and work outside an office • Supportive operations team to help manage shipments and client needs Responsibilities • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with both domestic and international clients • Promote and sell freight forwarding, logistics, and specialized equipment transport services • Build relationships with heavy-equipment dealers, machinery brokers, engineering firms, boat and yacht dealers, • Manage your sales pipeline, negotiate rates with back-office support, and close new accounts Experience & Qualifications • Some experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or international shipping required • Existing industry connections preferred • International candidates should have knowledge of engineering, heavy machinery sales and trading, and government infrastructure projects Compensation • Commission-only with no cap on earnings • New clients brought to the company are your clients for the duration of your tenure • Unlimited income potential with recurring shipments • Opportunity to build long-term residual income from repeat clients How to Apply Send your resume detailing your sales background and industry experience to: toni@exportlogisticsandshipping.com
