Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead Location: Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Technical Lead to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves leading the implementation, configuration, and support of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: • Technical Leadership & Mentorship • Lead and mentor a team of Guidewire developers, providing guidance on best practices and technical solutions. • Review and approve offshore development deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with business requirements. • Implementation & Development • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter modules. • Spend 40 60% of time on hands-on development tasks including PCF configuration, business rules, and data model creation. • Develop, configure, and integrate features based on client business needs using Gosu, APIs, and Guidewire tools. • Client Engagement & Coordination • Act as an onsite liaison (virtually) to understand client business processes and translate them into technical requirements. • Coordinate effectively between onsite and offshore teams to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution. • Production Support & Incident Management • Provide ongoing technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter in production environments. • Analyze and resolve defects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. • Collaborate with integration partners and service providers to maintain application uptime and performance. • Project Management & Communication • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team status updates. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, developers, and management. Required Qualifications: • Guidewire Certification: Associate, Specialist, Professional, or ACE in PolicyCenter. • Experience: 5 8 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter modules. • Technical Skills: • Strong proficiency in Guidewire configuration and integration. • Experience with at least one full-cycle Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation. • Expertise in Gosu programming, business rules, and process modeling. • Familiarity with SQL Server or DB2, and application servers like WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBOSS. • Experience integrating third-party platforms and services. Preferred Skills: • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
