Our client, a leading organization in the technology and education sector, is seeking a Sales Assistantto join their team. As a Sales Assistant, you will be part of the sales support department supporting customer engagement and renewal processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong organizational abilities which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sales Assistant Location:Houston, TX - Remote Pay Range:$21.42 - $23.63 on Experis W2 - Benefits/PTO What's the Job? • Support renewal and growth initiatives within the education sector, focusing on K12 and community colleges. • Assist in managing customer renewals, cloud migration, and modernization projects. • Contribute to signal-based customer acquisition efforts through inbound campaigns. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate renewal processes. • Maintain compliance with company policies and engagement rules throughout customer interactions. What's Needed? • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. • Experience in sales pipeline management or customer engagement preferred. • Basic knowledge of cloud solutions and licensing models is a plus. • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred. Hard Skills: 1. Contract Renewal & Negotiation Description: Ability to manage end-to-end renewal processes, negotiate terms, and close deals at scale. Experience: 2-3 years in sales, account management, or renewal-focused roles. 2. CRM & Data Management Description: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., MSX, Dynamics) for maintaining data hygiene, tracking milestones, and managing pipeline. Experience: 1-2 years working with enterprise CRM tools and reporting dashboards. 3. Licensing & Cloud Solutions Knowledge Description: Understanding of Microsoft licensing programs (EA, CSP) and cloud growth strategies to identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Experience: 1-2 years in software licensing or cloud solution environments.
