Position Title: Associate Director, Security Delivery Management Location: McLean VA 22102 Employment Type: contract 06 month Department: Enterprise Security Services Position Overview The Associate Director, Security Delivery Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex security initiatives across multiple portfolios. This position plays a critical role in advancing the maturity of enterprise security services, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and maintaining high standards of performance, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end delivery of security solutions and services, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. • Build and maintain strong relationships across a matrixed organization, serving as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert. • Drive continuous improvement in security service delivery through structured methodologies, including scoping, analysis, and solution development. • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans using contemporary tools, incorporating fiscal oversight and change management. • Apply advanced risk management techniques to proactively identify, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues. • Monitor project performance using key metrics and provide regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership. • Provide coaching, mentoring, and oversight to project-aligned personnel; may manage a small to mid-sized team of project professionals across onshore and offshore locations. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience managing large-scale, complex projects or programs, preferably within security or risk management domains. • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required; additional certifications such as Six Sigma, Kaizen/Lean are preferred. • Proficiency in project management tools and platforms, including Microsoft Suite, Smartsheets, Primavera, Jira, and ServiceNow. • Demonstrated excellence in communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and foster high-performing teams.
