Our client, in consumer packaged ice cream industry is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have contract management, contract negotiation, project management skills and R&D operations which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Facilities Project Manager Location: Englewood Cliffs NJ Contract: 6 Months (extension possible) Pay Range: $40 - $44 hourly What's the Job? • Lead daily operations and strategic planning for the Ice Cream division's office, lab, and pilot plant, supporting ~240 employees and potential site relocation; serve as the primary steward of the physical workspace, ensuring seamless operations, enabling innovation in technical environments, and driving transformation that reflects our brand, culture, and business ambitions. • Drive space transformation initiatives, partnering with CBRE, Sodexo, and external design teams to align workspace with brand, safety, and sustainability goals. • Oversee facilities and vendor management, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality while coordinating emergency planning and building communications. • Support R&D environments, collaborating with technical teams to maintain compliant labs and pilot plants, manage equipment upgrades, and ensure EH&S standards. • Engage internal and external stakeholders, acting as the voice of the Ice Cream team in workplace matters and communicating updates clearly across teams. What's Needed? • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace services, or corporate real estate, ideally within a CPG or technical environment. • Must have project management, contract management, contract negotiation, R&D Operations • Proven ability to lead office transformations, relocations, or lab/pilot plant upgrades. • Experience supporting R&D or technical environments, with working knowledge of lab infrastructure and compliance standards. • Experience working with external partners such as CBRE, Sodexo, and architectural or engineering firms. • Familiarity with global workplace standards and cross-functional collaboration.
