Our client, a leader in the higher education sector, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic department supporting student interactions regarding insurance plans and reimbursements. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume tasks, which will align successfully with the organization's mission. Job Title: Administrative Assistant - Insurance Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Pay Range: $27 - $32 per hour What's the Job? • Assist with upwards of 50-100 student interactions daily regarding offered insurance plans. • Manage high-volume email requests efficiently and effectively. • Utilize Google Sheets and the Google Suite of products for various administrative tasks. • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. • Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, with students and staff. What's Needed? • Extensive experience with Google Sheets and the Google Suite of products. • Proven track record of managing high-volume email requests. • Experience handling confidential information responsibly. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Nice to have: Insurance experience and proficiency with Concur, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
