8+ years experience with 4-5+ years in P&C insurance domain, strong BA and data analysis skills, BI tool proficiency, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Description: • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements in the P&C insurance domain (claims, underwriting, policy, actuarial reporting). • Perform data analysis, data profiling, and data cleaning to ensure high-quality insights. • Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD). • Leverage Business Intelligence tools to develop and interpret reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making. • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. • Drive process improvements and deliver actionable insights within the P&C insurance framework. • Support migration efforts from Cognos/Tableau/SPSS to Power BI by gathering requirements and rationalizing reports. Requirements: • 8+ years of total experience, with 4–5+ years specifically in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain, including expertise in claims, underwriting, policy, and actuarial reporting. • Strong Business Analyst background with proven skills in data analysis and report interpretation. • Extensive experience in data profiling and data cleaning. • Proficiency in creating BRD and FRD documentation. • Excellent communication skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment. • Business Intelligence skills (e.g., experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik). • Knowledge of report rationalization, requirement gathering from business, documentation, data cleaning and analysis, cross team collaboration and experience with cataloging. • Experience supporting migration from Cognos, Tableau and SPSS to Power BI (BA support for migration). • Preferred: Experience with insurance-specific data tools or platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek). • Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
