Job Description About the Role: As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze network requirements, plan network upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to meet business needs. This role requires strong technical expertise in networking technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Job Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities • Design and architect end-to-end networking solutions for enterprise and AI workloads, with a focus on bandwidth-intensive and latency-sensitive applications such as generative AI, HPC, and edge computing. • Lead hands-on deployment, integration, and validation of hardware (switches, routers, edge platforms) and software (network operating systems like Enterprise SONiC, SmartFabric OS10) in data centers, edge locations, and virtual environments. • Work directly with customers or internal stakeholders to gather requirements, create network blueprints, and perform configuration, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting. • Develop, implement, and document best practices for scalability, reliability, automation, and security in network architectures. Required Hands-On Experience • Direct experience with physical deployment and configuration of Ethernet switches (400GbE/800GbE), InfiniBand, SD-WAN, virtualization functions (VNFs), and next-generation edge devices. • Proficiency in operational tools and network operating systems for orchestration, monitoring, and life-cycle management (e.g., SONiC, SmartFabric Manager). • Expertise in testing, benchmarking, and optimizing network performance for AI clusters and high-density compute/storage fabrics. • Background in scripting and automation (e.g., Ansible) for deployment and management of fabric architectures.
