Bilingual (Spanish/English) Governance & IT Controls Consultant Duration: 1–3 Month Contract Company: Executive Option, LLC Engagement Type: Independent Contractor / 1099 or Corp-to-Corp Location: Remote with client interaction (Mexico-based stakeholders) Engagement Overview Executive Option is seeking a Spanish-speaking consultant to support a short-term advisory engagement focused on access controls, data governance, and risk assessment for an industrial client operating in Mexico. The consultant will work closely with Executive Option leadership to facilitate stakeholder discussions, document processes, support risk analysis, and contribute to governance recommendations and executive deliverables. This is a project-based role with defined outcomes over approximately 4–6 weeks of active delivery, with potential extension up to 3 months depending on client needs. Scope of Work The contractor will support delivery across four phases: • Current-State Discovery • Risk & Gap Assessment • Control & Governance Design • Roadmap Development and Executive Deliverables These phases align with Executive Option’s governance framework and delivery model. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement • Facilitate bilingual meetings with client stakeholders in: • IT • Finance • Operations • Leadership teams • Translate business and technical discussions between Spanish and English. Documentation & Analysis • Document: • User access lifecycle processes • Privileged access practices • Critical systems and data dependencies • Capture real operational practices versus policy. Risk & Controls Support • Assist with: • Risk identification • Gap analysis against best practices (ITGC / SOX-aligned principles) • Prioritization of findings • Contribute to risk matrices and recommendations. Deliverables Support • Support preparation of: • Governance documentation • Executive presentations • 30/60/90-day roadmap • Decision documentation • Provide bilingual deliverables when needed. Required Qualifications • Fluent Spanish and English (required) • 3+ years of experience in one or more areas: • IT controls / ITGC • Internal audit or risk advisory • ERP security or access management • Governance or compliance consulting • Business process analysis • Experience facilitating workshops or stakeholder interviews • Strong documentation skills • Ability to operate independently in a consulting environment Preferred Experience • ERP environments (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) • Manufacturing or industrial clients • Consulting or advisory firm background • Exposure to SOX, ISO, COBIT, or similar frameworks • Prior work with Latin American organizations Deliverables Expectations The contractor will contribute to: • Current-state documentation • Risk and gap analysis artifacts • Governance framework documentation • Executive presentation materials • Implementation roadmap Contract Terms • Duration: 1–3 months • Estimated Effort: 40–120 hours total (depending on phase support level) • Work Schedule: Flexible based on project milestones • Engagement Type: Independent Contractor • Potential Extension: Yes, based on project needs Ideal Candidate Profile This role is ideal for: • Independent consultants • Former Big 4 or advisory professionals • IT audit or risk specialists • ERP security analysts • Bilingual governance consultants in Mexico or Latin America Job Type: Contract Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week Work Location: Remote
