We are currently hiring a Quality Assurance Technician for a well-known food production facility in Arvin, CA. In this role, you will monitor compliance with food safety and quality standards throughout the entire processing and packaging cycle. This position ensures product integrity through inspections, documentation, and real-time communication with supervisors. • Location: Arvin, CA • Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Reports To: QA Lead Person / Supervisor • Pay Rate: $17.00/HR • Temp-to-Hire Key Responsibilities • Conduct food safety and quality inspections throughout processing and packaging • Perform GMP audits, pre-op checks, and monitor equipment (wash tanks, temperatures, metal detectors, etc.) • Make process adjustments to Peracetic Acid/Ozone systems as needed • Record data, take photos, and communicate through Redzone or similar programs • Monitor inbound raw product quality and ensure adherence to specs • Maintain documentation and support QA/QC software systems • Assist with product holds, rejects, and overall plant cleanliness and safety • Report any quality or food safety issues to the QA Lead • Rotate to other plant areas as needed and perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications: • Previous QA or food safety experience preferred • Computer/tablet skills required • Ability to learn Peracetic Acid/Ozone systems • Strong attendance, punctuality, and basic math skills • Must follow all GMPs and Food Safety procedures • Able to work overtime/Saturdays as needed • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, physical, and functional evaluation Hiring Requirements:  • Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States  • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check  • Register at www.exactstaff.com/register • For more information call us today at 661-393-9700 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Referral program • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • Arvin, CA 93203 (Required) Work Location: In person
