Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fundraiser to join our team on a performance basis. This means you would accrue a portion of what you are able to successfully collect with no hourly salary (till after funding is secured). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission. This position requires strong relationship management skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders. The Fundraiser will work closely with the team to identify potential funding sources, manage donor relationships, and ensure successful fundraising campaigns. Responsibilities • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals. • Utilize Raiser Edge and other databases to track donations, manage donor information, and analyze fundraising data. • Conduct research to identify potential grant opportunities and funding sources. • Write compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate our mission and funding needs. • Foster relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners through effective public relations efforts. • Collaborate with team members to organize fundraising events and campaigns. • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising initiatives, making adjustments as necessary. Qualifications • Proven experience in fundraising or related fields is preferred. • Proficiency in Raiser Edge or similar fundraising software is highly desirable. • Strong research skills with the ability to identify potential funding opportunities. • Excellent strategic planning abilities to develop effective fundraising campaigns. • Exceptional written communication skills for grant proposal writing and public relations materials. • Strong relationship management skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
