Full Description

Job Description: • Build a complex multi-tenant enterprise SaaS application to revolutionize application workflows • Build and maintain the backend REST server that feeds machine learning data and business intelligence • Own the full lifecycle of designing, building, and launching enterprise applications • Work on greenfield projects with high levels of ownership • Collaborate directly with the head of product, data science team, UX designers, and end users • Shape EvolutionIQ’s products through technology choices and roadmap development • Provide technical expertise, introduce best practices, drive consistency across teams, and help prioritize features • Solve business problems using large-scale structured and unstructured datasets • Work with product managers to define scope and design database schemas • Write technical design documents, perform code reviews, and maintain engineering practices Requirements: • Extensive experience across the full feature development lifecycle • 5+ years of engineering experience • Expert Python development skills • Strong systems design experience • Relational database experience • Proven experience using AI/agentic tools such as Claude, Codex, or Cursor • Experience designing, building, and launching backend architectures for multi-tenant, multi-user scenarios • Ability to move between rapid prototyping and stable production development • Ability to write technical design documents and perform code reviews • Knowledge of state-of-the-art engineering practices • Ability to understand client business problems and demonstrate the business impact of technical solutions • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences • Self-starter mindset and eagerness to solve unsolved problems • Excellent cross-team collaboration skills and openness to critical feedback Benefits: • Annual bonus plan • Company equity plan (RSUs) • Medical insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Short-term disability insurance • Long-term disability insurance • Life insurance and AD&D • 401k matching • Additional family benefits • Wellness benefits • Pet benefits • Paid time off and sick leave • 100% paid parental leave (16 weeks for primary caregivers and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers) • Flexible schedule for new parents returning to work • Catered lunches • Happy hours • Pet-friendly spaces • Monthly technology stipend • $1,000/year for professional development • Tuition reimbursement • Visa-transfer sponsorship for candidates currently in the U.S. with an active visa
