About The Role The Office Manager keeps the Raleigh-based operations of a remote technology team running smoothly across people, systems, vendors, and day-to-day logistics. The role owns the administrative infrastructure that supports engineering, product, and go-to-market teams, including workspace operations, purchasing, travel, events, and documentation. You will build reliable processes for a distributed workforce, coordinate across time zones, and make sure employees have the tools, information, and support needed to work effectively. This role is highly visible and requires sound judgment, responsiveness, and strong follow-through in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities - Own workplace and remote-office operations, including vendor coordination, equipment shipments, access requests, supplies, and facilities support - Manage purchasing, invoices, reimbursements, and budget tracking through tools such as Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or equivalent platforms - Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics across HRIS, identity-management, device-management, and collaboration systems - Plan company meetings, team events, offsites, and travel; manage agendas, bookings, schedules, and post-event follow-up - Maintain operational documentation, vendor records, employee resources, and recurring checklists in Notion, Confluence, Google Workspace, or similar tools - Partner with IT, People, Finance, and department leaders to resolve administrative issues and improve internal workflows - Track deadlines, action items, and service requests using tools such as Asana, Jira, Slack, or comparable systems What We Are Looking For - 1-3 years of experience in office management, workplace operations, executive assistance, administration, or a related role in a technology environment - Strong proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Slack, video-conferencing tools, and business operations software - Experience coordinating vendors, purchasing, travel, events, invoices, and multiple concurrent administrative workflows - Highly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to prioritize high-volume requests independently - Clear, professional written and verbal communication with sound judgment when handling confidential employee, financial, or company information - Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, operations, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience - Bonus: Experience supporting a fully remote or distributed workforce; familiarity with HRIS, IT ticketing, expense-management, or device-management platforms; project-management certification
