The Job at a Glance We are seeking a proven Senior Director of Sales with a deep track record of success in healthcare, specifically with health plans. This strategic and relationship-focused executive will have experience selling into health plans and growing existing client portfolios, driving retention and expansion, and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes. The Senior Director of Sales will leverage industry relationships to deepen partnerships, collaborate with other Sales leaders, and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize client value and satisfaction. What You Will Do Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the same. Typical responsibilities of the role include: Manage a significant region of the US that you will be responsible for generating payor leads, working opportunities across the sales journey and ultimately sign contracts. Present solutions using appropriate sales approaches and techniques, including team and/or consultative presentations/efforts. Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in payors, including Csuite, decision makers and the full payor support team that is a part of the selling/contracting process. Negotiating terms and pricing agreements with payors, overcoming objections and concerns to secure sales and achieve revenue targets. Collaborating with implementation and support teams to ensure a smooth transition for payors after the sale, providing ongoing support and assistance as needed. Gathering feedback from payors and market trends to inform product development and marketing initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance in the market. Nurture relationships directly in your region with companies and other key market players. Work closely with internal teams, including account management, marketing, finance, legal and others, to ensure success in contracting with new customers Oversee target payor relationships and driving expansion opportunities within the current client base Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify growth opportunities, mitigate churn risk, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their evolving needs and challenges, and positioning Evermore solutions to drive measurable health and business outcomes Manage contract renewals and expansion negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms while achieving revenue retention and growth targets Partner with sales teams to support new business opportunities where existing relationships can accelerate deal cycles About You While every candidate brings a unique resume and prospective, an ideal candidate will include: 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, account management, customer success, or client services within healthcare Deep experience selling to and serving payers and health plans, particularly in Medicare Advantage and Medicaid markets Proven success in identifying, initiating, developing, and closing sales opportunities Demonstrate successful experience selling complex solutions Experience structuring, negotiating, and closing “deals” Expert at handling objections, negotiations and closing capabilities Experience with managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes Flexibility to adapt to changing market dynamics and evolving customer needs. Adept at maintaining accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data. Proven track record of managing complex, strategic client relationships and consistently achieving sales, retention and expansion targets Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client objectives and align solutions to drive measurable outcomes Bachelor's degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred Other Requirements Travel may be required from time to time as part of the role, for company events and business needs evermore is a remote-first, distributed workforce. Candidates should be comfortable with, and equipped to work within, a distributed remote team, including having reliable internet access and basic home office equipment. evermore will provide a work laptop, and mouse/keyboard upon request Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
