Responsibilities: - Conduct property tours for potential residents and provide information about available units - Responsible for the leasing process, including application review, lease preparation, and move-in coordination - Respond to inquiries from current and prospective tenants in a timely and professional manner - Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions in the property management system (Fortress) - Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient turnover of units and timely resolution of maintenance requests - Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities to tenants - Stay up-to-date on local rental market trends and competitor pricing to assist with setting rental rates - Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and regulations in all leasing activities Skills: - Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and procedures - Proficiency in using property management software to track leasing activities and manage tenant information - Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills - Basic understanding of real estate administrative tasks, including lease preparation and documentation - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for general office tasks- Handle the company's social media postings To be an effective Leasing Consultant at Evergreen Real Estate, you will need to: • Have a great attitude • Have high expectations • Work with passion • Have a tireless work ethic • Be confident • Be self-sufficient and self-motivated • Take pride in your work • Be a good listener • Offer a solution with every problem • Go above and beyond for your residents Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
