Sales Professional (Business Development) Who you are: Located in the Pacific Northwest area you are a career Sales Professional with a demonstrated track record of business development success. Highly ambitious, you enjoy the development of new business and reaping the financial rewards. You lead by example and demonstrate hard work and strong business ethics in achieving company sales targets. You have “been there and done that” and this exciting opportunity is the next step in your career advancement. Who we are: Evergreen Commercial Cleaning has been providing commercial cleaning services for over 35 years. They are currently experiencing exceptional growth and have exciting expansion plans. To meet this growth, they are looking for a full-time, experienced sales professional to join their growing team in the Pacific North West for Washington State. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Sales prospecting (90%) and account management (10%) while you build the territory • Identify and develop new market opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance sales performance • Develop customized proposals in response to government RFPs and create tailored proposals for private sector businesses as needed • Prepare or oversee the preparation of service contracts and consult with customers post-sale to resolve issues and provide continuous support • Attend industry trade shows conferences and events • Maintain business relationships with existing customers and maximize sales Competencies - You have a proven track record of competency in the following: • Taking responsibility for your own successes and failures • Effectively solving problems • Being highly effective at new business development • Qualifying opportunities and overcoming objections • Assessing situations and effectively solving problems • Action orientated Results - You have proven that you can: • Proactively prospected to generate business from existing and new customers • Build a territory from scratch • Generate high client satisfaction through relationship management and quick resolution of issues • Get past the gate keeper to get to the decision maker • Manage a forecast and pipeline Intangibles - You are committed to being: • Exceptional at documenting information and following through • Consistent in your contact with prospects • An excellent communicator that can address issues quickly and effectively • Consistent in contacting and communication with prospects and clients • Effective at time management and meeting deadlines Skills: You are skilled at: • Prospecting for new business face to face and via technology • Networking • MS Office Applications, specifically Excel, and Word • Oral and written communication • Consultative selling • Uncovering the prospects and client’s needs and providing a solution • Using a CRM (Pipe Drive preferred) Performance: You have in the past: • Grown a territory and existing accounts • Created and implemented an individual sales plan with a constant improvement approach • Worked with a long or short sales cycle • 3 years outside sales experience • Flourished in a small company environment that is continually changing and growing • Dealt with decision makers and multiple decision makers Front of the Line: If you have the experience: • 3 years plus outside sales experience • Have sold janitorial and or building maintenance services • Experience using Pipe Drive Education: College or university education an asset. Highschool diploma or GED required. Compensation: Competitive base salary, commission plus bonus. Tremendous earning potential with the ability to earn well into six figures is why we want to speak.
