Fiscal Assistant Job Responsibilities: • Process purchase orders • Following up with vendors and employees to obtain needed documentation to process payments • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance. • Maintains historical records by filing documents. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed • Reconciling credit card expenses • Verifying the accuracy of payments being processed and alerting the Accountant and Director of Finance of errors or missing information • Helping the Director of Finance with administrative duties • Preparing claims for approved grants • and any other tasks assigned as needed Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Accounting: 5 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Hempstead, NY 11550: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
