Role Overview As our Email Content Strategist / Writer Lead Intern, you’ll transform campaigns into high-converting email copy. You’ll craft subject lines, headlines, CTAs, and body text that align with our tone and resonate with our community. From product launches to promotions to storytelling moments, your words will drive clicks and deepen connection. Key Responsibilities • Write and edit email copy for campaigns, flows, and newsletters • Translate brand voice into compelling subject lines, headlines, and CTAs • Interpret campaign briefs and align messaging with marketing goals • Collaborate with design, strategy, and paid ads teams to ensure cohesive messaging • Assist with A/B testing content (subject lines, copy tone, CTA wording) • Help maintain a copy library and email content archive for future reference Qualifications • Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for emotional storytelling • Understanding of email marketing principles and performance levers • Familiarity with brand tone development and audience segmentation • Experience with Google Docs, Klaviyo, or other email platforms is a plus • Bonus: Exposure to eCommerce, copywriting, or marketing communications You’re a Great Fit If You Are: • A natural storyteller who loves writing for real people—not just selling • Confident adapting tone and voice across different campaign types • Detail-oriented, creative, and collaborative with cross-functional teams • Interested in testing, optimizing, and understanding what drives engagement Who Should Apply • Students or recent grads in marketing, journalism, communications, or creative writing • Individuals passionate about brand voice, email strategy, and persuasive content • Interns who want to lead content creation within a performance-driven team What You’ll Gain • Hands-on experience writing email copy that blends creativity and performance • Opportunities to shape brand messaging across the customer journey • Strategic exposure to campaign planning, segmentation, and A/B testing • Portfolio-ready writing samples and copy results you can measure
