Our mission is to combat loneliness and isolation while helping seniors age in place. Volunteers are adults 55+, low-income, and typically serve 20 hours per week with 1–2 clients. Eligible volunteers receive a modest tax-free stipend to offset service costs. Program is free to clients living in Harris County, TX. Position Summary We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support volunteer-based services in Harris County. This full-time role is essential for coordinating recruitment efforts, facilitating volunteer-client matches, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational skills with a heart for service and a talent for logistics. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare reports, maintain records, and create monthly newsletters. Data Management: Maintain accurate databases, assist with payroll, and generate grant-related reports. Program Coordination: Support onboarding and training, organize events, assist with volunteer recruitment, and conduct pre-screenings. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, conduct match check-ins, assist with home visits, and update client care plans. Other Duties: Attend required training and meetings and represent ERJCC and AmeriCorps Seniors professionally in the community. Qualifications Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and social media). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Comfortable working with older adults and persons with disabilities. Valid driver’s license, auto liability insurance, and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided). Understanding of nonprofit operations is a plus.
