Role Description We are seeking a candidate with a strong science background, good communication skills, and a passion for health to join our team as a Medical Communications Specialist. This is a part-time position (20-25 hours per week) that can be fully remote, or onsite in our Green Bay, Wisconsin headquarters. Our ideal candidate will possess a degree in health sciences, with priority given to those with naturopathic, nursing, or nutrition degrees, or other healthcare professionals. Clinical patient care experience is a plus. Qualifications • Degree in the health sciences, with preference given to naturopathic, nursing, and nutrition degrees • Familiarity with scientific research databases including PUBMED • Demonstrated ability to interpret and summarize complex scientific publications (analytical skills) • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate with employees and customers at all levels of technical understanding • Proficiency with standard office software including PowerPoint and Word Desired • Public speaking skills • Clinical patient care experience • Familiarity with the natural products industry Responsibilities • Research and review technical literature relating to products and ingredients • Prepare summaries identifying key features and unique differentiators of products and ingredients • Answer technical questions from staff and customers • Prepare slide presentations and other educational materials for use in marketing/sales initiatives
