Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time (estimated 10–20 hours per week) Application Deadline: October 15, 2025 Rate: $40 - $65 per hour (price will be a factor in hiring) Reports to: President About Eurasia Foundation Eurasia Foundation (EF) is a Washington, D.C.–based international development organization working to strengthen civil society and foster open, accountable governance. We partner with local leaders, reformers, and institutions to deliver programs that advance transparency, resilience, and opportunity. We are seeking a part-time communications consultant to shape and deliver EF’s communications strategy, ensuring our story is told with clarity, creativity, and impact. Scope of Work Responsibilities The Communications Consultant will lead EF’s external and internal communications activities, working closely with the President and program teams. Key responsibilities include: Website & Digital Presence • Maintain EF’s website, ensuring content is current, engaging, and aligned with organizational strategy. • Monitor analytics and recommend improvements in design and performance; interface with developer as needed to achieve these goals. Social Media & Content Strategy • Implement social media strategy in collaboration with program teams. • Produce compelling, timely content that highlights EF’s impact, adjusting to emerging trends and best practices. • Track engagement and provide reporting on results. Publications & Storytelling • Lead in documenting and presenting the impact of programs through various channels. • Manage production of annual report and support program staff’s storytelling. • Ensure adherence to branding and identity guidelines across all communications. Events & Campaigns • Support public events and campaigns with logistics and communications materials. Other Duties as assigned by the President. Qualifications • Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. • Experience: • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in communications, including website and digital content development. • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content under tight deadlines. • Experience in global development sector strongly preferred. • Skills: • Exceptional writing and storytelling abilities with strong cross-cultural sensitivity. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. • Technical: • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop), and MailChimp. • Familiarity with analytics tools and social media management platforms desirable. • Other: Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
