The Director of Insights is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that directly drive topline revenue growth while optimizing current trade spend while also delivering brand & market insights. This role sits at the intersection of data, business strategy, and storytelling—building a high-performing analytics function while partnering closely with executive leadership, product, marketing, finance, sales and operations. This person blends strong analytical rigor with business acumen, turning complex data into clear, revenue-impacting recommendations.The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to: The key responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to: • Lead insights team & strategy focused on revenue growth, trade spend optimization, and brand & strategic markets insights. • Utilize data to develop and translate business questions into analytical frameworks and deliver insights that influence pricing, GTM strategy, and product investments. • Partner with the IT team to ensure data accuracy and relevance. • Partner with Marketing & Sales to provide valuable insights for new product innovation (e.g., UPSPW, ramps, etc). • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting that track KPIs, revenue trends, and growth driver initiatives. • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across analytics outputs. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing analytics team. • Proactive relentless curiosity and data-driven analysis to identify new growth opportunities, expose competitive gaps, and translate insights into action MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role • Proven experience building and leading high-impact analytics teams • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect data to real-world outcomes • Expertise in analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python/R, BI tools like Sigma, Power BI, etc.) • Experience working with modern data stacks and cloud data platforms • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills—able to influence at the executive level • Hands-on mindset with the ability to zoom in on details or zoom out to strategy • Experience in experimentation, forecasting, or advanced analytics is a plus • Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employement drug screening • Must be eligible to work in the US What Success Looks Like • Leadership consistently relies on data insights to guide decision-making • Teams across the company trust and use analytics to measure performance and test ideas • Clear, scalable analytics processes and standards are in place • The analytics team is engaged, growing, and delivering measurable business impact Why Join Us • High-visibility role with direct influence on company strategy • Opportunity to shape and mature the organization’s analytics capabilities • Collaborative, data-driven culture that values curiosity and impact ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication channles inlcuding verbal and written mechanisms • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours • Ability to operate a computer and other office technology • Ability to observe details at close range • Occasionally travel for work up to 5% of the time BENEFITS • 401K matching • Medical • Dental • Vision • Short Term Disability • Long Term Disability • HSA & FSA • Pet Insurance • Life Insurance • Employee Assistant Program • Referral Program • And more!
