Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience working with elders and volunteers, strong communication skills, intermediate computer skills including Excel and Salesforce, and ability to travel for home visits.

Are you looking for a career that makes a difference and impacts the lives of others! Ethos is looking to add a BMMP Bill Payer Program Coordinator to the Boston Money Management Program team. This position will assist the BMMP Program Manager in the administration of this program, which utilizes community-based volunteers and interns to support elders in paying bills that are essential to their well-being and safety in the community. Monday – Friday 9 am to 5 pm, FT, 28 hours/week, non-exempt. Hybrid work option is possible after a successful 6-month introductory period. Salary Range $24.00-$26.50 per hour, depending on experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Oversee and maintain compliance with Bill Payer Program audit requirements · Represent BMMP in statewide MMP meetings · Organize and conduct periodic volunteer in-service and advisory council meetings · Supervise and mentor Bill Payer Program volunteers Referrals and Applications: · Log, screen and report on all volunteer applications and all client referrals in Salesforce. Bill Payer Client Volunteer Matches: · Conduct recruitment, orientation, interviewing and training of BMMP volunteers and interns. · Conduct outreach and assessment of bill payer clients. · Provide home visits to bill payer clients as needed. · Provide ongoing technical support to - and supervision of - volunteers and interns. Bank Statement Monitoring: · Recruit and train case monitors. · Coordinate monitoring of bill payer bank statements and quarterly monitor review forms. · Follow up with volunteers/clients on relevant client issues. Administrative: · Develop and maintain documentation systems for all volunteer and all client files. Maintain and produce case records essential for EOEA audits. · Provide and document case management as needed. · Train and supervise administrative BMMP volunteers. · Prepare and submit reports as assigned by supervisor. · Provide updates to the advisory committee as assigned by supervisor. · Conduct outreach with referral agents. · Perform clerical and other related duties as assigned by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. · Sensitivity to elder issues, including financial literacy. · Experience working with elders and/or volunteers. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Intermediate computer skills with database experience, particularly with Excel and Salesforce. · Must be willing and able to travel to conduct home visits using public transportation or personal vehicle (having a personal insured vehicle is strongly advised). • Indicates non-essential job functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
