Job Title: Admission Coordinator- 2451 Location: Providence, RI 02912 Pay Rate: $25/hr on W2 Duration: 06 -12 months (Possibility of Extension) Description: Answer a multi-line phone system and respond to routine questions or forward to appropriate party, all incoming calls to the Office of College Admission Keep reception area well organized, with pertinent information on all programs and services easily accessible Provides excellent customer service, administrative support, and problem solving related to prospective students, departmental records Processes, updates, and supports departmental records and data Provides a wide range of administrative support duties Process incoming and outgoing mail; scan, index, and match documents to applicant records Performs data entry and data corrections Coordinate bulk shipments of Admission publications Must be able to lift up to 30lbs; serves as the front desk receptionist Answers phones and welcomes visitors Required Tools / Technology: • Office phones • Scanner • Experience using databases Ideal Personality: • Able to work independently while taking direction • Positive, proactive, and demonstrates a “can do” attitude Top 3 Must-Have Skills: • Excellent customer service • Experience with data entry • High familiarity with computers/laptops Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with Slate database • Basic to intermediate Excel skills • Direct experience with document matching • Research skills to check accuracy and validate data
