Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our cutting-edge equipment remotely. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction by providing timely technical support and troubleshooting. What You'll Do: - You will remotely diagnose and resolve technical issues with ESS Technologies equipment. - You will provide expert guidance and support to customers via phone, email, and remote access tools. - You will perform routine maintenance and software updates to ensure equipment reliability. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. - You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve complex issues. - You will participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and product developments. - You will assist in developing technical documentation and user manuals. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years experience in field service or technical support roles. - Strong knowledge of remote diagnostic tools and software. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with ESS Technologies products or similar equipment. - Familiarity with networking and IT infrastructure. - Technical certifications related to electronics or IT. - Previous experience in a remote service technician role.
