Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician at ESS Technologies, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers by providing remote technical assistance and ensuring the optimal performance of our products. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused individual who can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. What You'll Do: - You will provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for ESS Technologies' products. - You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime. - You will communicate effectively with customers to understand their technical problems and provide clear solutions. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. - You will collaborate with the Business Services Manager to prioritize and manage service requests. - You will stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to enhance service quality. - You will assist in training customers on product usage and best practices. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or field service role. - Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. - Proficiency with remote support tools and technologies. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with ESS Technologies' products or similar technology solutions. - Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+. - Familiarity with CRM and ticketing systems. - Previous experience working in a remote technical support role.
