Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and servicing our equipment remotely, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. What You'll Do: - You will troubleshoot and repair equipment remotely using diagnostic tools and software. - You will provide technical support and guidance to customers via phone, email, and remote access. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance. - You will collaborate with the Business Services Manager to prioritize service requests and manage workload. - You will participate in training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and products. - You will ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards during all service activities. - You will assist in developing service procedures and improving customer support processes. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service or technical support roles. - Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems relevant to ESS Technologies' products. - Proficiency with remote diagnostic tools and software. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with Pacteon group technologies or similar industry equipment. - Certifications related to electronics, mechanical systems, or field service. - Familiarity with CRM and service management software. - Additional language skills to support a diverse customer base.
