Role Overview: As a Field Service Technician at ESS Technologies, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers by providing remote technical assistance and ensuring the optimal performance of our products. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining excellent communication with clients. What You'll Do: - You will provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for ESS Technologies' products. - You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime. - You will collaborate with the Business Services Manager to prioritize and manage service requests. - You will document service activities and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. - You will assist in the installation and configuration of new equipment remotely. - You will communicate effectively with customers to explain technical information clearly. - You will stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to enhance service quality. What You Bring: - You bring at least 2 years of experience in field service or technical support roles. - You have strong troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of hardware and software systems. - You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - You are comfortable working independently in a remote environment. - You have proficiency with remote support tools and diagnostic software. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with ESS Technologies' product lines or similar technology sectors. - Certifications related to technical support or field service (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+). - Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software. - Additional language skills to support diverse customer bases.
