Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Educational Specialist (ES) to join our vibrant learning community. Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to diverse student needs, including early childhood education, special education, and literacy programs. • Provide direct instruction in subjects such as math, reading, writing, and physical education, ensuring lessons are engaging, interactive, and aligned with educational standards. • Mentor and support teachers and teaching assistants by sharing best practices in classroom management, behavior management, and lesson planning. • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support early intervention initiatives and individualized education plans (IEPs). • Utilize learning technology tools effectively to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. • Offer training sessions or workshops on topics like Montessori methods, working with children with autism, or library services to foster professional growth among staff. Skills • Proven experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management across various educational settings. • Strong proofreading and writing skills to create clear instructional materials and assessments. • Expertise in teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and early childhood development principles. • Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms; familiarity with behavior management strategies is essential. • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and early intervention techniques for children requiring additional support. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, colleagues, and external specialists. • Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for remote or blended learning environments. • Background in education administration or private school settings is advantageous for understanding diverse organizational structures.
