This role oversees a team of Service Supervisors, who manage 6–12 service crews, and is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth within a $3–$8 million department. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, financial acumen, and deep understanding of commercial roofing systems and service workflows to drive performance and profitability. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including project management, sales and marketing, safety, and quality assurance to ensure seamless service integration and promote consistent operational excellence. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Structure: * Lead and manage a team of Service Supervisors, each responsible for overseeing service crews. * Ensure supervisors are effectively coaching, scheduling, and supporting their crews to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards. * Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all service teams. Operational Oversight: * Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, job completion, and quality control. * Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. * Monitor field performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Revenue & Financial Management: * Manage service department P&L, ensuring profitability. * Track job costing, labor efficiency, and material usage to optimize margins. * Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to identify growth opportunities and support business development. Safety Compliance: * Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and company policies on all job sites. * Lead weekly safety meetings and provide ongoing safety training to the service team. * Inspect all safety equipment and PPE before use each day.   Client Communication: * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during service operations, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns effectively.   Resource Management: * Manage inventory and procurement of roofing materials, tools, and equipment necessary for service operations. * Ensure optimal use of resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness.   Job Requirements and Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing service and repair, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. * Proven success managing service operations with multi-million dollar revenue responsibility.  * Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, BUR, etc.).  * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.  * Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suit * Comprehensive knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations. * Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening as a condition of hire. * Must possess a valid driver’s license and a dependable personal vehicle  to travel to job sites as required. * Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of safely using ladders and other elevated access equipment. Preferred Skills & Certifications: * Above average knowledge of commercial roofing software (ex: DataForma) * OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour card * Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred Additional Information: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or qualifications.
